Mohler, Nixon & Williams Elects Steve Vidlock CEO and Managing Partner; Leads Accounting and Tax Firm for Silicon Valley and Bay Area April 25, 2011 – (Campbell, San Francisco and Palo Alto, CA) – Mohler, Nixon & Williams (MNW) today announced that Steve Vidlock has been appointed CEO and Managing Partner, effective immediately. Vidlock will lead the nationally-ranked accounting and tax firm with locations in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Palo Alto. Vidlock joined MNW in 1987, and is an audit partner focused on employee benefit plans and venture capital firms. In addition, he has over 25 years of experience in serving clients in a variety of other engagements, including electronics, software developers, construction companies and non-profit organizations. Vidlock is one of the firm's specialists in the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and was previously the partner with overall technical responsibility for employee benefit plan audits and related consulting engagements. He has served in a number of leadership positions over the years, including audit practice leader, Executive Committee member, and most recently serving as a member of the Management Committee. A graduate of San Jose State University, Vidlock joined a local premier San Jose accounting firm that later merged with an international firm. Prior to joining MNW, he was a corporate controller for a technology manufacturing company. "I am honored to be elected as MNW's CEO and Managing Partner," said Vidlock.
