Liana Felix is in charge of MNW’s employee benefit plan audit services and is the designated partner for the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center affiliation. Liana’s accounting, auditing and consulting experience is in a variety of industries and includes privately held and venture backed software, manufacturing and start-up companies.  She has extensive experience with the many challenges facing growing companies such as revenue recognition, equity financing and implementing internal financial controls. 

In addition to her business audit expertise, Liana is highly versed in all aspects of employee benefit plan audits, including pension plans, VEBA plans, health and welfare plans, 401(k) plans and the Form 11-K filing requirements with the SEC.  She works closely with human resource and finance employees as well as third party administrators and trustee/custodians in planning and performing these audits. 

Liana joined Mohler, Nixon & Williams over 15 years ago and brings these years of public accounting experience to her role as audit partner.  Having grown her professional career within the firm, Liana is committed to the professional development of her staff.  She is an active member of the firm’s Education Committee and serves as instructor for many of the courses within Mohler Nixon University.

Liana graduated with a degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University. She is licensed as a certified public accountant in California and is a member of the  American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
