Dave Welsh - Owner
Dave specializes in tax planning and compliance for corporations, individuals, estates and trusts. He has extensive experience in providing domestic, multistate and international tax planning and compliance services to clients ranging in size from startups to middle market companies to publicly traded enterprises. His experience includes consulting on tax matters relating to the manufacturing, service, high technology and life science industries. Along with his experience in working with companies, Dave has a specialized focus working with executives and high net worth individuals providing income tax, estate and trust tax planning services.

Prior to joining Mohler, Nixon & Williams, Dave was with Durham, Martin & Jenkins, a regional firm in North Carolina that merged with Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Dave is a graduate of Appalachian State University where he received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters with a concentration in Taxation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed in California and North Carolina. He has served as a member and advisor of several charitable boards including the United Way and various youth sports organizations. Dave lives with his wife Sandy and they have two grown children.
