Andy has 25 years of business expertise in Silicon Valley. Andy's specialties include individual tax and compensation planning, stock option taxation and planning, high technology companies, start-up companies and international taxation.

Andy is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Andy chairs the AICPA’s IFRS Tax Task Force. He also serves as an appointed member of the AICPA’s Tax Practice Responsibilities Committee. Andy has previously served as a member and Chair of the AICPA’s International Taxation Technical Resource Panel and as a member of the AICPA Tax Executive Committee (TEC).

Andy is also a member of the California Society of CPAs. Andy teaches continuing education classes for other CPAs inside and outside of California on a regular basis. He has had technical tax articles published for several publications.

Prior to joining Mohler, Nixon & Williams, Andy was with Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in San Jose, and specialized in taxes for Pacific Rim companies. Andy graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a degree in business administration, with a dual emphasis in finance and accounting.
